As a leader at our North Plant site, Noe R. Santos has dedicated many years to mastering various roles essential for the success of our wash plant operations. He has gained experience in every job, understanding the importance of balancing site safety, production goals, and plant maintenance. As a result, Noe has developed into an exceptional leader. He is now prepared to take the next leap in his career: Foreman of North Plant.

Since joining Memphis Stone & Gravel, a Granite Company, in 2006, Noe has taken on various roles, including writing tonnage tickets, operating a front-end loader and excavator, and most recently serving as a Leadman. Eddie Ragsdale, Superintendent, summarized, “Noe has played a part in every aspect. He’s been a real asset to our operations.”
He went on to add, “Noe was chosen for this promotion to Foreman because he has been a key part of every operation, has great relationships with team members, catches on quickly, and is always trying to keep production moving.”
Assistant Superintendent Henry Reed agreed, stating, “Noe has always shown great interest in moving forward in his career. He showed those traits in his former role as Leadman. Stepping into the Foreman position was just natural to him.”
When it comes to safety, Noe not only leads by example but also recognizes that everyone has a role to play. He is well-known for encouraging open discussions with his team. Eddie explained, “During the safety huddle-ups, Noe encourages a different team member to lead the toolbox talk each week. He wants everyone on the same page regarding safety, and he tries to ensure everyone in his team stays safe.”
This humility in the morning huddle-ups extends to the job itself. Eddie recalled, “Noe exudes our core value of humility. He’s willing to get into a ditch with the team and do whatever needs to be done to keep things running smoothly. No job is too small or too large for him.”
Henry concluded by highlighting Noe’s past successes while looking forward to the future. “Noe represents all four of our core values, but continuous improvement stands out to me the most. He’s shown in his past roles that he is always trying to do better for himself and his team.”
These traits will undoubtedly make Noe a successful leader for the North Plant team. We appreciate his dedication to his craft, his focus on our people, and his ongoing coaching in our Live Safe Work Safe program. Great job and congratulations, Noe!
